Privacy & cookies
leonida.guide is an independent fan site about GTA 6. There are no accounts, we don’t sell data, and we collect as little as we can. This page explains exactly what happens when you read the site.
What we measure
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help people most. When it’s on, Google Analytics receives the page you viewed (its address without anything after a “?”, so your search terms are never sent), the page title, your approximate location (country and city, worked out by Google from your connection — Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address), your device type, browser and screen size, and how you arrived, for example from a search engine.
It also records a few interactions: how far you scroll, links you follow to other sites, file downloads, embedded video plays, and when a form is used — never what you type into it.
We don’t use advertising cookies, we don’t let Google use this data for ads (Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off), and we don’t sell or share personal information.
Cookies and storage
_ga and _ga_HX486E4FTF are set by Google Analytics to tell visits apart. They last up to two years, and they’re removed if you opt out.
Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) under lg-consent-v1, so we don’t ask again. We set no other cookies.
Your choice
If you’re in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics doesn’t load until you choose Accept. Everywhere else it’s on by default.
Anyone can change their mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Choosing Decline switches analytics off and removes its cookies. You can also use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep it
Detailed analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Summary reports, like total visits per month, don’t identify anyone.
Who handles the data
Google processes analytics data on our behalf, and it may be processed outside your country. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers keep short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, to run and protect the service.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to how it’s used. Analytics data isn’t tied to your name, so the quickest way to stop collection is Decline in Cookie settings. For anything else, email privacy@leonida.guide.
